Additional info: Dr. Matthew Bednar has been providing family dental care in Polk City from 1982 to 2001 and in Johnston from 2000 till the present. We have many of our original patients.Dr. Bednar is located in Foxboro Square at the corner of 86th Street and 62nd Avenue for the past 12 years. He and his staff strive to provide a comfortable atmosphere for adults and children. We offer a state of the art facility and provide excellent patient care. Dr. Bednar will explain all of your treatment options so you can make an informed treatment decision. Cosmetic dentistry, all glass crowns and metal based crowns, implants, veneers, composite restorations that help reinforce your teeth after they need to be restored, silver fillings may help you split teeth since it does not bond to tooth structure. Tooth extraction, periodontal (gum) surgery, dentures, implant crown construction. At Creighton University where Dr. Bednar attended had no post graduate dentists learning to be specialists, Creighton dentists have a great deal of training in surgery and surgical procedures. We love to see kids starting at two with moms and dads.It is best to be cavity free and prevention starts at home. I you limit sugar, brush thoroughly for two minutes three times a day, floss or water pick and place a little extra fluoride, you will never have a new decay. Many of the medications we may take may dry our mouth making it easier for the bacteria to stick to our teeth making it much easier to have rampant decay. Simple water intake many times a day and custom fluoride trays will improve this immensely.

If you ask me about the clinic, I can say that this is a high class dentistry and most importantly, without “showing off". You pay for the skill of physicians. Especially fascinating is the surgeon, Dr. Matthew Bednar. Very good are periodontists. They cured very complex cases. Thank you.
